During the conversation, Secretary Rubio reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to a strong, collaborative partnership with Peru, highlighting nearly 200 years of diplomatic ties.
The leaders discussed boosting security cooperation and supporting Peru’s efforts to combat crime.
They also agreed to continue working together on key regional priorities, including fighting narco-trafficking and promoting stability across the Americas.
