Quick police action in Debe has led to the arrest of two men following a robbery with violence early Sunday morning.
Officers responded after a 54-year-old man reported being robbed of TTD $700 and the keys to his rented Toyota Axio.
The stolen vehicle was later found hidden in an abandoned structure, with one suspect inside and the other attempting to remove the license plate.
Both were arrested on the spot, and the vehicle recovered.
Meanwhile, nationwide police operations over the weekend resulted in the seizure of nine firearms, ammunition, and illegal drugs, including two firearms from police-involved shootings.
Authorities continue investigations and thanked the public for tips that helped remove these deadly weapons from the streets.
