Trinidad and Tobago’s new High Commissioner to Jamaica, Her Excellency Deborah Thomas-Felix, has officially presented her Letters of Credence to Jamaica’s Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, during a ceremony at King’s House on November 18th.
As part of the visit, High Commissioner Thomas-Felix also met with Jamaica’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson-Smith, who expressed gratitude for Trinidad and Tobago’s support following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa—including the deployment of T&TEC linesmen and relief supplies.
The ceremony also welcomed new diplomats from Bangladesh, France, and Sweden.
The Governor General said the presentations reflect strong ties and enduring friendship during a challenging time for Jamaica.
