The Siparia Borough Corporation welcomed officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service’s Southwestern Division on Monday for a courtesy visit focused on improving safety and security across the district.
During the meeting, police officials outlined ongoing engagement strategies and newly launched crime-prevention plans aimed at boosting public safety, strengthening traffic management, and deepening community involvement.
Working alongside the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government and the Municipal Police Academy, the TTPS reaffirmed its long-term commitment to protecting residents well beyond the Christmas season.
The Borough says it looks forward to receiving the Division’s operational procedures and action plans, noting that stronger collaboration will support upcoming events and ensure the continued security of all burgesses.
