Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers says Trinidad and Tobago stands in solidarity with India during this difficult time, condemning what he called a heinous act of violence.
Minister Sobers added that the government remains committed to global efforts to combat terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms.
The explosion occurred near to the historic Red Fort district in New Delhi.
“The conspirators won’t be spared and all those responsible will be brought to justice,” India Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
