The Government has announced a landmark partnership with OpenAI to transform education and the public service as part of a people-centred digital shift.
Led by the Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence, the agreement places T&T among the first countries globally and the first in the Caribbean, to join OpenAI’s Education for Countries initiative.
The partnership will introduce artificial intelligence tools into schools, universities, and government services to improve learning, boost productivity, and modernise the public sector.
Minister Dominic Smith said the move is about building a modern, inclusive, and future-ready state where technology expands opportunity for all.
