Three people are expected to appear in Court today, charged with possession of forged currency.
During a police exercise in Curepe last Tuesday, officers went to on McInroy Street and arrested a 20-year-old Jamaican national.
Though found to be in the country illegally, he was first arrested with US$1,900 in counterfeit notes.
A search of his home then led to the arrest of two women: his 36-year-old mother and a 32-year-old family friend along with the seizure of an additional US$5,600.
