The THA has advised the public that the Remembrance Day Wreath Laying Ceremony is set for Sunday at 11am at the APT James Memorial Park in Scarborough.
In addition, there will be rehearsals on Thursday and Friday from 3:30pm.
The THA says that the public should expect noise from musical bands accompanying the rehearsals and the gun salute on Sunday.
The Assembly stressed this will not pose any direct threat to the general public and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
Remembrance Day honors service members who died in combat, particularly during World Wars I and II.
It is observed on the second Sunday of November, near the 11th Armistice Day, as a day of remembrance.
The day is marked by ceremonies, parades, and the wearing of the red poppy, a symbol of sacrifice and resilience—to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers to ensure their sacrifices for freedom are never forgotten.
