The Single Fathers Association is calling for mandatory DNA testing before fathers are assigned child maintenance in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to a recent survey, nearly one-third of paternity tests conducted over the last five years showed that the man named as the father was not the biological parent.

Association President Rhondall Feeles TTT News the current system is unfair and punitive toward men who simply want to confirm paternity before being ordered to pay maintenance.
