A 26-year-old Scarborough man is in police custody following the brutal killing of an American tourist in Castara.
Tobago police say the suspect was arrested after the body of 44-year-old Chris Brown — not the singer — was found in bushes off a trace leading to Little Bay on Wednesday night.
Brown had been stabbed multiple times.
The American had been vacationing with his girlfriend and was due to return home today.
Homicide officers are continuing investigations, as the incident sends shockwaves through the island’s tourism community.
