The San Fernando General Hospital has become the fifth general hospital in Trinidad and Tobago to achieve the baby friendly global standard.
Baby-Friendly is a PAHO/World Health Organization accreditation, which means the maternity facility meets global standards.
Health Minister Dr Lackram Bodoe said the accomplishment reflects excellent in healthcare.
