Rikki Jai is among 40 artistes advancing to the Semi-Final Round of the 2026 National Calypso Monarch Competition.
Singing “D’Kaiso Dynasty”, Rikki Jai qualified one of 40 calypsonians who made it through to the semi-finals.
Unveiled yesterday, the list also includes Yung Bredda, and former Monarchs Karene Asche, Duane O’Connor, Ta’Zayh O’Connor, Terri Lyons, Roderick Gordon, and Devon Seale.
Helon Francis won the 2025 Calypso Monarch title, singing “To Whom it May Be.”
The Semi-Final round will take place on February 7th at Skinner Park in San Fernando.
