The Port Authority has announced that a new roll-on, roll-off cargo vessel has been secured to replace the MV Cabo Star when its lease expires on Monday, January 12th.
The replacement vessel, the MV Blue Wave Harmony, is expected to arrive in Trinidad on or about January 18th, subject to prevailing weather conditions and the completion of all required clearances.
In the interim, the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company Limited says existing passenger vessels will be utilised to facilitate the movement of cargo between Trinidad and Tobago.
The public and stakeholders are being assured that full sea bridge services will resume once the Blue Wave Harmony enters service.
