The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service hosted its 4th Annual Church Service and Memorial Day Observance on Sunday, November 2, 2025, under the theme “Honouring a Legacy of Light & Service.”
The event began with the Blessing of the Colour at the Holy Trinity Parish in Arouca and concluded with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Prison Service’s Memorial Garden, Golden Grove.
Commissioner of Prisons Hayden Forde led officers in a solemn procession through Arouca, paying tribute to colleagues who have passed away.
In his address, Commissioner Forde expressed gratitude to the families of fallen officers, affirming that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
He also commended the dedication of officers past and present, urging continued service rooted in faith, honour, and compassion.
The observance reinforced the Service’s spiritual foundation and enduring commitment to discipline and national duty.
