US President Donald Trump has announced new agreements to lower prescription drug prices for US citizens.
Speaking today alongside nine major pharmaceutical companies, he said drug prices in the US will be reduced to match the lowest prices in other developed countries.
The agreements will lower the cost of some medicines under the Medicaid program, with changes expected to begin next year.
