US President Donald Trump has approved a bill that will release government files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to BBC News, under the new legislation, the Justice Department has 30 days to make public all information from federal investigations into Epstein, though it can withhold files tied to active investigations or personal privacy.
This comes after President Trump reversed his earlier opposition to the measure, after pressure from Epstein’s victims and members of his own party.
The bill was passed by both chambers of Congress.
