Students from Presentation College Chaguanas will represent T&T in the FIRST Global Robotics Challenge in Singapore starting tomorrow.

A post yesterday from the Catholic Education Board of Management confirmed that seven pupils, their principal and two teachers left for the trip.

The students attending are Nikhil Dilchan, Phillip Ragoobar, Sanjay Ramoutar, Terrel Nabbie, Nikolai Dindial, John Patrick and Sarmad Singh.

They are accompanied by Principal Mylene Seemungal and teachers Collin Samaru and Tricia Singh.

Chaguanas Mayor Faaiq Mohammed explained that the students are filled with enthusiasm on their project to achieve clean and renewable energy by separating the hydrogen element from water.

The Mayor said Presentation College Chaguanas is the only school representing T&T at the robotics challenge.
