Police have identified the woman who was shot and killed at Maraj Street in Montrose on Sunday.
Avanelle Abraham, a 38-year-old mother, was thrown from a vehicle before she was shot in the head.
The Trinidad Express reported that an autopsy confirmed her death as due to a gunshot wound to the head.
Abraham is reported to be the mother of a boy.
