Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says there is no United States military base in Tobago.
In a post via X, she confirmed that “what exists is a radar system and the necessary support for its operation.”
Mrs Persad-Bissessar emphasized that the Government maintains a strong partnership with the United States, acknowledging their valuable cooperation.
The Prime Minister highlighted that this collaboration has played a key role in significantly reducing crime in Trinidad and Tobago.
