Pan Trinbago is gearing up to host the second edition of its Steelpan and Powder Parade in San Fernando, as part of City Week celebrations.
The event, held in collaboration with the San Fernando City Corporation, takes place on Saturday, November 22nd, starting at 6 p.m.
Organisers say the parade builds on the tremendous success of last year’s debut, once again blending the infectious rhythms of steelpan with the colourful tradition of powder festivities.
The parade begins at the corner of Coffee Street and Cipero Street, before making its way down Coffee Street and ending at Skinner Park.
Several major steelbands are set to participate, including Trinidad Valley Harps, Siparia Deltones, Skiffle, Fonclaire, Massy Trinidad All Stars, Tropical Angel Harps, San City Steel Symphony, and Couva Joylanders.
Pan Trinbago says the parade is designed to celebrate artistic expression, strengthen community ties, and highlight the organisation’s ongoing commitment to preserving the nation’s rich steelpan heritage.
The public is invited to come out and be part of the vibrant, family-friendly cultural showcase.
