Minister of Public Utilities, Brent Padarath, today welcomed a courtesy visit from the Prime Minister of the 22nd National Youth Parliament, Nirad Maharaj.
Maharaj, a student of Naparima College in San Fernando, met with the Minister as he prepares for the Youth Parliament debate scheduled for next Monday, November 24th.
During the visit, Maharaj sought insight into the Minister’s experience as Leader of Government Business in the House—asking about managing the government bench, debating strategies, and parliamentary procedures.
Yesterday, Mr Padarath, as Acting Foreign Affairs Minister, met with the Minister of Tourism, Transport and Sport of Bermuda.
A delegation from Bermuda was in Trinidad and Tobago for their match against the Soca Warriors in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
