Heavy metal superstar Ozzy Osbourne has died, just weeks after reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a farewell concert performance for fans.
According to BBC News, the family issued a statement confirming he died this morning surrounded by family.
In 2019, Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and suffered other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained in a fall in 2019.
During his career, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame and the US Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, twice for both, with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist.
Over the years, his career earned his many accolades including a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, an Ivor Novello, and five Grammy wins from 12 nominations.
