Carnival 2026 will officially be launched this Friday by the National Carnival Commission.
The full day of festivities will held on the Brian Lara Promenade, from 9AM to 6PM and will be addressed by Culture Minister Michelle Benjamin and NCC Chairman Peter Kanhai.
It will feature traditional characters, exhibitions, workshops, kids’ zones, a performance by 2025 Panorama champion Republic Bank Exodus and a concert featuring some of calypso and soca’s biggest names.
There will also be performances by 2025 Panorama champions, Republic Bank Exodus, and a concert featuring several soca and chutney artistes.
Also on showcase will be traditional characters, exhibitions, interactive workshops, and a kids’ zone.
