The Education Ministry says safety and security protocols have been activated in the wake of threats affecting Rio Claro East Secondary.
According to reports, threatening messages were being posted on a TikTok account.
These targeted teachers and students of the school and featured warnings of an imminent attack.
The Ministry says it is aware of the reports, with the matter being managed in collaboration with the relevant national security authorities.
It also insists that appropriate measures are in place and that the situation continues to be closely monitored.
