Jamaica’s representative at the 2025 Miss Universe pageant, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, is recovering in hospital after a fall on stage during the evening gown preliminary competition in Bangkok, Thailand on Wednesday.
Henry is undergoing preliminary medical tests at Paolo Rangsit Hospital.
Officials say she is not suffering any life-threatening injuries.
She was accompanied by her mother, sister, and Miss Universe representatives.
Mark McDermoth, national director of the Miss Universe Jamaica Organisation, asked the public to keep Gabrielle in their prayers as she continues her recovery.
