The management and staff of the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government says they are “deeply saddened” by the passing of Councillor Romona Victor.
Victor, the Councilor for Siparia East/San Francique South, was found dead at her home on Sunday.
“She was a passionate advocate for her community and served with integrity, care and purpose,” a release from the Ministry stated.
“Her work and impact will continue to be felt by the people she faithfully represented.”
The Ministry offered condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and the communities she served diligently.
