Education Minister Dr. Michael Dowlath says regional collaboration is important in addressing shared challenges to education access.
He added that no country can solve these challenges alone.
Speaking at a conference hosted by The Islamic Missionaries Guild of the Caribbean and South America, the Minister highlighted the Caribbean and Latin America’s shared history of movement, diversity, resilience, and progress.
He emphasized that education has always been central to these journeys, both individual and collective, in uplifting communities through knowledge and opportunity.
Deputy House Speaker Dr. Aiyna Ali also attended the conference, which provided a platform to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore strategies for advancing community empowerment through education.
