Mexico beat T&T 2-1 to qualify for FIFA U17 World Cup

Trinidad and Tobago’s bid for a place in the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar ended on Thursday night with a narrow 2-1 defeat to Mexico.

Jesus Orduno and Adan Sanchez scored for Mexico in the last seven minutes of the came before Adasa Richardson notched an injury time penalty for T&T deep into injury time.

Mexico has qualified for the FIFA U17 World Cup as group winners.
