A 41-year-old man has died after a shooting in Cocorite last night.
Police say Johnathan Richard Warrick was standing with a group at an area known as “The Swamp” on Ethlyn Trace around 9:30 p.m. when gunmen opened fire.
Warrick was shot multiple times and rushed to St. James Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Officers recovered eight 9-millimeter shell casings at the scene.
