A man was arrested in Dow Village on Tuesday after he allegedly attempted to kidnap and rob a woman on Friday night.
The man was arrested and taken to hospital after he complained of experiencing pain from a previous injury.
On Friday, the man allegedly picked up a 40-year-old clerk in San Fernando who was bound for Dow Village, South Oropouche.
He refused to let her out of the car and demanded her cellphone and wallet.
However, the women jumped out of the car and made a report to the Oropouche Police Station.
She then assisted the officers to point out the man on Tuesday.
