The Prime Minister says Youth Development will be central to the upcoming National Budget to help advance T&T.
She was speaking today at the launch of TSTT’s New Future Leaders Internship, where 600 young people will get hands-on experience for three weeks during the vacation period.
Mrs. Persad-Bissessar offered some motivation for the interns in the programme that supports national development and expands access to opportunities.
The PM expanded on some of the youth-oriented moves that will be made within the upcoming budget.
Each intern will receive a financial stipend for the duration of the programme.
