Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander says a report on the fire that claimed the life MP Lisa Morris-Julian has been laid before the Cabinet.
Speaking with the media at the Piarco Airport yesterday, he said out of respect for the family, it will not be presented to the Parliament just yet.
Mrs Morris-Julian and two of her children died in a fire at their Arima home on December 16th 2024.
An investigation was ordered by former Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley after reports of delayed arrivals by fire tenders and a water shortage in the area during the incident.
Former Chief Fire Officer Roosevelt Bruce led the three member investigative committee.
The report was submitted to former National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds in January this year, however to date, no details have been shared.
