Certified lifeguard will be on active duty on 15 beaches in North, South and East coast from tomorrow until Ash Wednesday.
The Ministry of Defence said the lifeguard services will be deployed to support public safety and emergency response.
The plan includes lifeguards deployed at seven beaches in the Mayaro district, including at Church Road, St Ann’s Beaumont, Plaisane, DeRoze, Rabita, and Radix.

Lifeguards will also be deployed at Maracas, Las Cuevas, Vessigny, Los Iros, Quinam, Toco, Salybia, and Manzanilla.
