The Judiciary says preliminary investigations into a suspected bacteria or mould infestation at the Chaguanas Magistrate’s Court have not identified any immediate hazards.
There are reports circulating that the issue has led to staff members complaining of rashes, itching and other health issues for some time.
The Judiciary says in the past few weeks, air quality testing, general cleaning and sanitation activities have been ongoing to address the concerns.
It states that should any findings indicate the need for alternative arrangements, it will communicate this to the public.
