India successfully chased 274 runs to defeat New Zealand in Sunday’s Cricket World Cup group game.

Batting first, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell scored 130 to lead the Kiwis to 273 all out in 50 overs. Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets.

India’s chase was led by 95 runs from Virat Kohli and 46 runs from Rohit Sharma.

They for to their target with 2 overs to spare.

India and NZ have been unbeaten so far in the tournament, with NZ losing their first match today.

The win knocks NZ out of the top spot on the standings, into #2.
