Home Repair Grants from the Ministry of the People were hailed as answered prayers by father of six, Akennie Mc Leod of San Fernando.
The grants were delivered via the Ministry’s National Social Development Programme and include support for minor house repairs, sanitary plumbing and house wiring.
In addition, Mc Leod was referred to the Ministry’s Social Welfare Division for further assistance through the Household Items Grant and Food Support Grant, aimed at furnishing his home and easing daily burdens
