Trinidad and Tobago’s labour movement will make history this Friday, October 31st, with it’s first-ever Trade Union Fair at the Brian Lara Promenade, beginning at 9 a.m.
The event marks over 125 years of labour strength, unity, and progress.
The opening ceremony will feature Labour Minister Leroy Baptiste, Port of Spain Mayor Chinua Alleyne, JTUM President Ancel Roget, and NATUC General Secretary Michael Annisette.
Unions from across the country will showcase their history, achievements, and ongoing contributions, while leaders engage directly with the public and media. Organizers say the fair celebrates the enduring spirit of the nation’s workers.
