The Government has offered relief to customers affected by delays in cargo release handled by Trinbago Express USA at the Port of Port of Spain.
The delays, which were caused by operational and administrative issues, left customers waiting for months.
Minister of Works Jearlean John and Chairman of the Port Authority Dr Rodney Ramroop visited Shed 10 on Saturday to oversee the ongoing release of goods.
Minister John emphasized the Government’s responsibility to act when systems fail, ensuring timely relief for those impacted.
