Over a hundred families from vulnerable communities are one step closer to owning their homes.
The government has granted Certificates of Comfort to 103 people across Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister of Land and Legal Affairs, Saddam Hosein, says the initiative forms part of government’s plan to improve living conditions nationwide.
He explained that the certificate provides security of tenure — and urged recipients to take the next step by applying for legal ownership of their land.
