The Energy Ministry has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships with upstream operators, following a meeting with EOG Resources.
Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal praised EOG’s consistent contributions to national production and urged accelerated efforts to improve output, reliability, and long-term sector sustainability.
He also emphasized Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s support for advancing the energy sector and improving the ease of doing business.
EOG Resources Chairman and CEO Ezra Yacob reiterated the company’s long-term commitment to Trinidad and Tobago, citing its significant investments and ongoing actions to increase production across its assets.
Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation to advance hydrocarbon development, enhance value creation, and support the country’s broader energy objectives.
