Government has revealed a major clean-up of state programmes in Parliament yesterday.
Minister Barry Padarath confirmed 336 CEPEP contractors were also removed for “ghost gangs” and payroll fraud.
Minister Khadijah Ameen said 928 Unemployment Relief Programme workers were terminated and outlined the reasons why.
Both ministers insist the terminations restore accountability and transparency in public employment.
