NCRHA Chairman Dr Tim Gopeesingh says eight “preferred vendors” have benefited from more than a billion dollars in contracts, over a ten-year period.
Speaking at a UNC media conference this morning, he shared details of what he described as serious financial mismanagement, under the last administration.
Dr Gopeesingh also released additional details into the findings of a financial audit into janitorial and security services.
Dr Gopeesingh said the savings following these findings will allow for a better functioning healthcare system and improved efficiency.
