A former University of Trinidad and Tobago lecturer is appealing a High Court ruling that dismissed his three hundred and twenty-seven thousand dollar lawsuit against the institution.
The case is due to be heard on Thursday at the Court of Appeal.
Dr. Rabindranath Ramsaroop, a physicist and senior instructor in design and manufacturing systems, had sued UTT after his three-year contract was terminated 14 months early in 2018.
He claimed the money represented what was owed to him for the remainder of his contract.
The court, however, ruled against him in April this year.
However, Dr. Ramsaroop has since filed an appeal, maintaining that his termination was unjust and that he is entitled to full payment.
