Former TTPS constable Russell Bedasse Cedros was found dead at his home yesterday evening.
According to the T&T Express, preliminary police investigations indicate it may have been a suicide.
Bedasse had resigned from the Police Service following the death of his mother, 57-year-old Shelawathie Bedasse, who was discovered at Clifton Hill Beach, Point Fortin, on September 24th.
Police initially considered her death a possible suicide, however Russell maintained she was allegedly murdered.
Authorities have not confirmed any convictions or further arrests at this time.
