The Energy Ministry and Caribbean Gas Chemicals Limited pledged to continue to work together to achieve shared objectives during a meeting in Port of Spain on Thursday.
Minister in the Ministry of Energy, Ernesto Kesar, met with executives of CGCL, with the parties agreeing to structured dialogue and future collaboration.
Discussions centred on the CGCL’s current operations, and opportunities for increased production and economic efficiency.
Minister Kesar said his Ministry will continue to support the continued growth and stability of the local petroleum sector.
Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) is the joint venture enterprise led by the consortium of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company Inc., Mitsubishi Corporation, local conglomerate, Massy Holdings Ltd and the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited.
