A Certificate of Environmental Clearance has been granted to John Aboud, Chairman of Superior Hotels Trinidad and Tobago for a new 109-room hotel in San Fernando.
On February 26th, the EMA gave approval for the development, on more than 1.4 acres, off the Tarouba Link Road.
On the same day, the EMA also granted approval to Perenco Trinidad and Tobago to re-commission its produced water treatment system, on the Amherstia Platform in the Southeast Galeota Block.
The project is expected to optimise gas exports, increase production, strengthen national energy resilience and economic stability.
