EMA Board Sets Sights on Strengthening Environmental Management

Directors of the EMA 2025

The Environmental Management Authority, EMA, has welcomed its newly appointed Board of Directors, led by Chairman Doolar Ramlal.

Speaking at the first meeting, Mr. Ramlal outlined a strategic vision to position the EMA as a leader in environmental management and a key contributor to the Government’s sustainable development agenda.

Priority areas include tackling noise pollution and reviewing the Environmental Management Act and related regulations to boost efficiency and service delivery.

The Board includes directors from across the region, with one member participating virtually, signalling a collaborative approach to shaping Trinidad and Tobago’s environmental future.
