Dr. Neil Parsan has been appointed Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
He officially assumed duties at the Permanent Mission of Trinidad and Tobago on Monday, August 11th.
Dr. Parsan has experience in international diplomacy and global policy development, having previously served as Ambassador the US, Mexico, and as the Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States.
The new Ambassador’s role includes actively advanceing T&T’s positions on matters of international peace and security, sustainable development, human rights, and other priority areas.
