The Communications Workers’ Union claims employees are being left in the dark, as concerns grow over reported changes at the Trinidad Hilton.
The Union says it has received no formal communication following recent reports of a possible exit, rebranding, or restructuring, calling the situation a serious breach of good industrial relations.
It is demanding answers from both Management and Government on the future of jobs and operations, and has requested an urgent meeting within seven days.
It warns that failure to engage could lead to legal and industrial action.
The Union also raised concerns about the potential impact on tourism, major events, and the wider economy, noting the hotel’s role as a key business and conference hub.
