The Ministry of Culture and Community Development has extended condolences on the passing of television and film producer, director, and writer, Danielle Dieffenthaller.
Mr Dieffenthaller died on Sunday after a battle with renal failure.
She worked for over two decades in local television and film, with her drama “Westwood Park” running for over 100 episodes.
The Ministry said that Ms Dieffenthaller made notable contribution to media in Trinidad and Tobago and was deeply committed to youth development.
The Culture Ministry said her passing was a significant loss to the creative sector but her legacy will be firmly etched in the cultural landscape of Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
